Who doesn’t like a great burger? Even though burgers are great somehow they get even better when they become mini! We’ve created a mini burger that is perfect for the Fall season with apples, cranberries and a twist to the burger, we used pork sausage. Waldorf Slaw and Pork Sausage Slider

Ingredients
- SLAW
- 2/3 cup coleslaw mix or shredded cabbage
- 1/3 cup chopped apple
- 3 tablespoons dried cranberries
- 3 tablespoons chopped walnuts, toasted
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Pomegranate Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon cane sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
SLIDERS
- 1 pound bulk pork sausage
- 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese, halved
- 8 dinner rolls or mini slider buns
- 1 tablespoon Toasted Walnut Olive Oil
- 3 tablespoons Maille Dijon mustard
- Thinly sliced red onion
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the slaw ingredients. Taste for seasoning, Chill until ready to serve.
- Using the Kitchen Art Mini Adjust-A-Burger Slider Form, shape sausage into eight patties. In a large skillet, cook patties over medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side or until a meat thermometer reads 160°F and juices run clear. Add the cheese slices during the last 1-2 minutes of cooking time, cover with a lid to promote melting.
- Brush the rolls with the olive oil and lightly toast or grill. Spread bottom of rolls with mustard; top each with a sausage patty, red onion and 2 tablespoons coleslaw mixture. Cover with roll tops.
